Keywear was born in 1994 when I grew tired of covering my new Ensoniq TS10 with towels and rags. I went to the dealer where I'd purchased my TS10 (Musician's Depot, Eugene OR) to buy a dust cover. I was totally unimpressed with the $35 covers offered by the industry leader (at that time). They reminded me of Grandma's shower cap. They were constructed of cheap nylon pack cloth and looked awful. I asked my dealer if anyone made a stretchy Lycra cover that fit well. "No", was his reply. Knowing that there had to be millions of other musicians facing the same dilemma, I saw this as a great opportunity. I knew we could do better, much better. We designed a cover constructed of premium quality Nylon Lycra (like bike shorts) and gave it an adjustable shock cord in the hem for an incredible fit on wide variety of keyboards.

My dealer (Musician's Depot, Eugene OR) became my first customer. Our new stretchy dust covers were a big hit. This opportunity blossomed into a real business and today KEYWEAR Pro Keyboard Covers are sold in 30 U.S.states and Canada.
